Social Media Censorship Drives the Need for Consistent Organic Traffic Higher damonaz design

It’s no secret that social media censorship is out of control.

The big names like Facebook and Twitter have blocked, banned, and jailed a good many Americans including the former President just for speaking their minds and their truths.

This is supposed to be America – Land of the free, home of the brave. Our first amendment rights, including the right to free speech still stands but is being chipped away at daily.

This is a big enough irritation on personal accounts. It cuts you off from your ability to share and communicate with friends, family, groups, and associates right at a time where they are harping to stay away from each other to stay safe. Covid numbers according to the CDC keep climbing in different areas of the country, but they take away your ability to stay home and still socialize safely. It really makes less and less sense by the day.

AND….

If you have a business you are trying to run, the news only gets more frustrating. We see it with our client accounts every single day. Paid ad boosts and ad creation that formerly was perfectly acceptable is somehow now considered derogatory and offensive and the ads, despite offering up major money to these social media players, is refused and worse yet potentially dinging our account as well as the clients for simply trying to do business.

If they refuse your ability to run ads, how are you supposed to reach your customers?

Getting traffic organically in fact will get you longer lasting results, but it does take more time and effort. Adding new pages of content to your websites, publishing blogs that are tagged, have good solid meta-data, and keyword targeted, as well as republishing on other sites, and doing link backs are all good ways to get your site ranking on Google with methods that stay over time.

Google AdWords also works quite well, but again you are paying for advertising. Once the payment stops your ad is completely gone. The beauty is it boost you to the top of the pages by chosen terms in targeted areas.

Email blasts – Never undervalue the importance of a gathered email list. Doing created email blasts to people who have already signed up showing interest in your company is a great way to keep people thinking about you when they need something.

Paid Reach by way of bought followers – It used to be this was a black hat shady practice but with the onset of so many algorithms and filters, especially on Instagram it has become normalized. Its not targeted and a bit of a crap shoot if your new followers will be interested or stay, but its more cost effective than not reaching anyone.

The game of social media and online marketing is changing daily. It is a full time job.
